Danbury Gymnasium Gets Commercial Water Damage from Sprinkler System

When this gymnasium in Danbury received heavy water damage from a sprinkler system, SERVPRO technicians arrived quickly to extract the water from the concrete substrate. Fortunately the cleanup efforts began so quickly after the initial water loss that the painted on court lines did not incur any fading or peeling. After the water removal, the techs used multiple air movers and strategically-placed dehumidification equipment to lower the ambient humidity in the loss area as quickly as possible. The techs needed to remove little of the items and most could dry in place, however the hanging cloth dividers absorbed some of the water and required removal for drying in another area.
